In a spectacular debut, the sci-fi epic 'Kalki 2898 AD', starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone, has surpassed the Rs 500 crore mark worldwide in its opening weekend. The film, which hit theatres on June 28, continues to dominate the Indian box office.
Over the first four days, 'Kalki 2898 AD' put up a strong performance, culminating in an impressive Rs 85 crore collection on Sunday alone, marking its second-highest single-day earnings since its release. According to Sacnilk.com, the film amassed Rs 95.3 crore nett on its opening day, Thursday. Despite a dip to Rs 57.6 crore nett on Friday, it rebounded on Saturday with Rs 64.5 crore nett. By the end of Sunday, the film's total domestic collection reached Rs 302.4 crore.
