Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, who is riding high on the succes of her latest film 'Kalki 2898 AD', was spotted at a multiplex theatre in the city to catch a screening of her film. Accompanied by her husband, Ranveer Singh, the couple attended a late-night screening of the film, making the evening unforgettable for a few lucky fans who spotted them at the theatre.

The actress, who is expecting her first child, was warmly received by fans who eagerly asked for selfies. Padukone, who seemed to be in a rather good mood, graciously obliged and posed for photos with a lucky few.

After enjoying the film with Ranveer, his mother, and his sister, the couple was seen leaving the theatre to the cheers of paparazzi. In a heartwarming moment, the shutterbugs called out to Padukone by her character's name, "Sumathi ji!" The photographers were heard shouting her character's name, hoping to get her attention and ask her to pose for a few photos. Their cute antics seemed to bring a smile to the actress' face, however, with hubby Ranveer leading her on, she headed straight to her waiting car.

Ranveer, on the other hand, played the doting husband and took to social media to share his review on the film and his wife's performance. The actor posted a glowing review for the film and particularly highlighted his amazement for his wife's performance. He wrote, "As for my baby @deepikapadukone... You elevate every moment with your grace and dignity. Such poignancy, such poetry, such power. You are beyond compare.. I love you!"

'Kalki 2898 AD' directed by Nag Ashwin and also starring Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, and Amitabh Bachchan, has been ruling the box office. The sci-fi epic has already gone on to become one of the highest grossing Indian films.
