One of several deals Arsenal are hoping to complete fairly soon is the signing of Kai Havertz from Chelsea.
This a potential transfer that initially took many supporters - for both clubs by surprise - but one that makes a great deal of sense given the Germany international's Premier League experience as well as ticking all the boxes for the type of forward Mikel Arteta has targeted this summer.
"If Arsenal are to go for a forward this summer, it seems as though they're looking for a player who can play across the front line," football.london's chief Arsenal Writer Kaya Kaynak revealed during a Q&A session. "Arteta is a fan of versatility in his players so someone like Trossard would probably be on the agenda."
