Minnesota Vikings wide receiver K.J. Osborn has left the game versus the Green Bay Packers with an apparent shoulder injury. Osborn was injured with around six minutes to play in the second quarter on a catch over the middle.
Osborn caught the ball over the middle, then took a hit from Packers linebacker Quay Walker. Walker appeared to come down on Osborn with his body weight, wrenching the shoulder of Osborn. Osborn was in immediate visible pain and headed to the sideline right away.
Osborn was sent to the blue medical tent right away to be evaluated. If he’s unable to return, it would be a significant blow to the Vikings offense. Osborn has played a nice roll in the Vikings offense in the first half, providing them with a big-play spark.
Osborn only has two catches on the day on three targets, but he’s turned those two catches into 32 yards. We’ll have more on this injury as updates become available.
