Juventus have denied recent reports they are ready to rip up Paul Pogba's contract with the French midfielder yet to play this season.
Pogba returned to Juventus on a free transfer last summer, signing a four-year deal in Turin after the expiration of his contract at Manchester United. The 29-year-old suffered a knee injury in July and has not played a single minute of competitive football this season for either his club or the French national team.
Pogba made the bench for Juve's 2-0 home defeat to Monza at the end of January, but failed to come on and suffered a fresh setback as manager Massimiliano Allegri confirmed he was suffering from muscle soreness in the wake of the loss.

With Juve paying Pogba a reported £135,000-per-week in wages, speculation gathered pace that the club were willing to rip up his contract - but chief football officer Francesco Calvo has insisted that will not happen.
"We are not planning to terminate Pogba's contract, I can deny these stories," Calvo said. "He's an important player for us, the injuries are part of the game but Paul is training well and we wait for him."
Pogba's omission from the France World Cup squad came as a hammer blow for the midfielder, whose form for his country has always been impressive. The midfielder moved back to Turin in a bid to revive his career, having left the Italian side for £89million back in 2016.
The move last summer meant that Juventus had signed Pogba for free twice. Pogba's second spell in Manchester was far from what was expected, with the midfielder showing sparks of brilliance during his six seasons in M16 but never managing to transform that into consistent form.
