In speaking with the media on Thursday afternoon, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson was clear in his desire to return to the team this season.
“I always say that I want to be a Hall of Famer,” Jefferson said. “So I can’t just sit out missing games.”
Jefferson is well on his way to becoming a Hall of Famer after shattering records over his first three and a half years. He injured his hamstring against the Kansas City Chiefs and has missed the last four games. The Vikings activated his practice window on Wednesday and are anxiously awaiting his return.
It’s worth noting that Jefferson, like the team, considers himself day-to-day. It’s possible for Jefferson to play on Sunday, but it’s not trending that way at this point.
