The Vikings pulled off an upset win over the 49ers on Monday night thanks to a dominant performance from quarterback Kirk Cousins.
Even without Justin Jefferson healthy and on the field for Minnesota, Cousins was able to throw for 378 yards and two touchdowns, guiding the Vikings to a 22–17 victory.
After the game, Jefferson was fired up and crashed Cousins’s postgame interview in order to place the ‘SportsCenter Top 10’ chain around his neck.
“I gotta work on getting some of these though,” Cousins said, pointing to the grills on Jefferson's teeth. “I gotta get that.”

Coincidentally, during the game’s broadcast, ESPN’s Troy Aikman declared Cousins was in his list of top 10 quarterbacks.
It’s not the first time the ‘Top 10’ chain has been presented after Monday Night Football. Jets’ undrafted rookie Xavier Gipson was given the chain after New York’s dramatic win over the Bills in Week 1.
Jefferson is currently on injured reserve due to a hamstring injury and is not eligible to return until Week 10. Despite not featuring in the game, the star wide receiver was delighted the team was able to pick up a win in his absence against one of the league’s toughest defenses.
Cousins, who has been gifted jewelry by his teammates in the past, now has another piece for his collection, earning the ‘SC Top 10’ chain from his teammate after his big game.
