In the world of television, actor Justin Hartley is no stranger to success. Known for his role as Kevin Pearson in the critically acclaimed series This Is Us, Hartley has captivated audiences with his compelling performances and relatable characters. However, his latest venture takes him into uncharted territory as he steps into the role of Colter Shaw in the new CBS drama series 'Tracker.'

For fans who have followed Hartley's career, his portrayal of Kevin Pearson in This Is Us has been nothing short of remarkable. The show, which ran for six seasons and garnered numerous awards, showcased Hartley's talent as he portrayed a successful television actor coming to terms with his own personal struggles. It's no wonder viewers fell in love with the evolution of his character over the years.

But now, Hartley is ready to tackle a new challenge in the form of the CBS series Tracker. Inspired by Jeffery Deaver's bestselling crime novel 'The Never Game,' Hartley was not only drawn to the story but also the opportunity to lead his own television series. In the show, he plays the role of Colter Shaw, a resourceful and street-smart reward seeker on a mission to find the missing and provide solace to desperate families in search of answers.

Colter Shaw is a lone-wolf survivalist, always on the move in his old-school RV. With an expert set of tracking skills, he travels across the country, assisting both law enforcement and private citizens in cracking cases that seem unsolvable. Each episode takes place in a different town, as Colter uses his unique abilities to uncover the truth and bring closure to those in need. And of course, there's always a reward involved.

But what exactly is a reward seeker, you might ask? While it may sound similar to a bounty hunter, there are indeed some differences. Bounty hunters typically work for bail bondsmen, capturing fugitives for a commission or bounty. Their primary goal is to locate and apprehend criminals. On the other hand, Colter Shaw refers to himself as a 'rewardist,' focusing on locating missing individuals and occasionally recovering valuable objects. While he does pocket the reward money, for him, it's more than just a job – it's a calling.

Though Colter may fancy himself as a lone wolf, he does have a team supporting him along the way. Velma and Teddi, his handlers played by Abby McEnany and Robin Weigert, are always ready to help him. Additionally, tech genius Bobby Exley, portrayed by Eric Graise, and legal whiz Reenie Greene, played by Fiona Rene, provide valuable assistance when needed.

The show's premise revolves around Colter Shaw's past experiences growing up in a fractured family, which has fueled his determination to find answers and peace for others. In just the first three episodes, Hartley's portrayal of Colter Shaw has already hooked viewers with his likable and captivating performance.

With Hartley and Deaver serving as executive producers alongside Ken Olin, Elwood Reid, and Ben Winters, 'Tracker' promises to be an exciting and gripping series. The show is set to premiere after the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 11, at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on CBS and will also be available for streaming on Paramount+.

As fans eagerly await the release of 'Tracker,' there's no doubt that Justin Hartley's portrayal of Colter Shaw will be a compelling addition to his impressive repertoire. With his talent and charm, Hartley is sure to bring this unique character to life, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats as they follow his journey to uncover the truth and bring closure to the lives of those he encounters.
