Justin Bieber charging fans up to €1,075 for meet and greet packages ahead of Irish tour

Justin Bieber is charging Irish fans more than €1,000 for VIP packages to see him backstage on his Justice World Tour.

The singer added a second Dublin date to his Justice World Tour after the first show sold out in less than an hour on Friday afternoon.

The Canadian pop singer will now play Dublin's 3Arena on March 2 next year, just a two days after his first date on February 28 with tickets for the new show on sale now.

But fans who want to get up close to the superstar will have to fork out €1,075 for the Justice VIP experience.

His fans have paid between €86 and €126 for their seated tickets, while standing prices are currently €99 to see him in his sellout Irish tour.

But the ‘Justice’ VIP experience includes a “group photo opportunity” to meet the Sorry star – but individual snaps with him are not allowed.

The description reads: “1x incredible reserved seated ticket – Memories to last a lifetime.

“Group photo opportunity with Justin Bieber (photos taken in groups of no less than four).

“Behind the scenes escorted VIP Backstage tour, limited edition tour memorabilia, exclusive set of tour posters (based on original artwork).”

The package includes “on site VIP perks” like VIP priority check-in & separate VIP entrance, crowd-free merchandise shopping opportunity, exclusive Justin Bieber VIP merchandise, 1 special VIP tour gift (created exclusively for VIP package purchasers) and 1 commemorative VIP tour laminate & matching lanyard.

Bieber is offering three other packages, with the cheapest option his Hold On VIP package, which will set you back €225.

The Hold On package will give you a reserved seated ticket, as well as limited edition tour memorabilia, a set of tour posters, Justin Bieber merchandise, a special tour gift and a “VIP tour laminate and matching lanyard.”

His Peaches VIP package starts at €250 and includes the same as the Hold On package – but a “phenomenal reserved seated ticket”.

Having sold over 1.3 million tickets so far, the Justice World Tour will travel to over 30 countries from May 2022 to March 2023.

The upcoming dates start this month in Mexico, with a stop in Italy before continuing on to Scandinavia for shows in August.

Next up is South America, South Africa and the Middle East in September and October. The tour will close out the year in Asia, Australia and New Zealand before moving to the UK and Europe in early 2023.

The new shows promise to be a celebration for Bieber and his fans after the pandemic side-lined his 2020 tour.

Bieber's eighth number one album Justice has sold over eight million copies globally and has amassed over 12 billion streams.

The Justice World Tour is his first global outing since his Purpose World Tour when he played to 2.7 million fans over the course of his 2016-2017 run, which included a date at Dublin's RDS.
