Harvey Weinstein, the former Hollywood film producer, faced another major development in his long-running New York criminal case on Wednesday. Even as the courtroom proceedings continued there were reminders everywhere of how much had changed since his first conviction, as per a report by The New York Post and KFDM.
The former Hollywood producer, whose 2020 New York conviction became closely associated with the #MeToo movement, was sentenced to 15 years in prison after being convicted again of sexually assaulting former TV production assistant Miriam “Mimi” Haley.
