Just Eat plans to lay off as many as 1,700 delivery drivers as the company struggles with the demand for takeaways now falling when compared to during the pandemic.
The Telegraph reports affected workers are understood to have been told on Tuesday morning. Delivery drivers, the publication said, have been offered six weeks' notice with full pay.
Around 170 full-time staff within Just Eat's operations team are also said to be impacted.

It comes as Just Eat shares have fallen by around 15% this year.
