NEW DELHI: Amid Sakshi Malik's shock retirement and Bajrang Punia and Virender Yadav returning their Padma Shri awards, newly-elected Wrestling Federation of India president Sanjay Singh on Saturday, slammed the wrestlers for engaging in politics over his appointment.

Sakshi, Bajrang and Virender's actions came in protest against Sanjay's -- a close aide of Brij Bhushan Singh -- appointment as WFI chief.
