Jury discharged in alleged rape trial of Townsville GP Praveen Kumar

There has been a mistrial in the case of a family practice doctor charged with allegedly raping a woman who was his patient.

Praveen Kumar, 57, pleaded not guilty in the District Court in Townsville yesterday to seven charges of rape.
