Jurgen Klopp had told his Liverpool players they must turn their back on history even while they’re in the process of writing it.
The Reds are in the unprecedented position of chasing four trophies deep into March, something they have never done before, despite all the honours the club has won in their glorious 130 years of history.
Yet Reds boss Klopp is absolutely adamant his high-flying team cannot afford to pause for a second to consider what they could achieve, or bask in the glory of what they have done so far, in what could end up being a remarkable season.
