Jurgen Klopp sees the funny side of Liverpool's long wait for a Premier League penalty

Jurgen Klopp could do little but laugh after being asked about Liverpool's lack of penalties in the Premier League this season.

The Reds have not been awarded a spot kick for 32 league games - a run stretching 11 months. They have had 1,138 touches in the opposition's box during that time, per Opta, which is the longest streak without winning a penalty in Premier League history.

Klopp will be hoping his team's remarkable run ends in their next game against bitter rivals Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday. Liverpool are sixth in the Premier League table - six points behind Antonio Conte's Tottenham in fourth with a game in hand.
