Jurgen Klopp has supported the decision of the Football Association to not take further action against Premier League official Constantine Hatzidakis for his altercation with Andy Robertson.
Making his way off the pitch at half-time of last Sunday's 2-2 draw with Arsenal at Anfield, Robertson approached Hatzidakis before appearing to be elbowed by the assistant referee after a brief conversation between the pair.
A statement released by the PGMOL after the full-time whistle confirmed the match official would not be assigned any fixtures while an investigation into the incident took place, with many expecting a punishment to follow.

The FA have since confirmed this won't be the case, a verdict Klopp believes is the correct outcome. Providing his take on the matter, the Liverpool boss said: "I think it has been dealt with really well in the end. I wasn't aware of it during the game, only after the game. I didn't want to see the pictures before the press conference because it makes life a little bit easier if you don't know what is happening. I spoke to Robbo and all the other guys, not the assistant, and I think it was dealt with really well and now we go again."
All parties concerned appear eager to move on from this situation, including the assistant referee at the centre of this controversial coming together.
An apology has been issued to Robertson by Hatzidakis, via a PGMOL statement, which read: "I fully assisted The FA with their investigation and have discussed the matter directly with Andy Robertson during an open and positive conversation," he said. "It was certainly not my intention to make any contact with Andy as I pulled my arm away from him and for that I have apologised. I look forward to returning to officiating matches.”
