Darwin Nunez and Ibrahima Konate could return from injury when Liverpool host Wolves on Wednesday.
Jurgen Klopp has issued a positive update on the pair’s fitness after shoulder and hamstring issues, respectively.
“Ibou trained yesterday completely normal and Darwin as well,” the manager told reporters.
“Ibou’s had no issues since he was injured, we just wanted to give him more training time before we include him again. It should be fine now.
“We have to see [with Nunez], it’s the shoulder. It looked absolutely okay yesterday but I don’t know and somebody will tell me how he’s reacted since.”
Liverpool will, however, be without Joe Gomez as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury.
Klopp also confirmed Thiago Alcantara, Arthur Melo and Luis Diaz are still some way off fitness with the Colombian winger recently impressing his manager in an individual training session.
“I watched half an hour of Luis’ rehab session out on the pitch - shooting, moving looks all really good,” he added.
“But it was not a team training session so that’s probably not decisive information.”
