Jurgen Klopp insists his Liverpool players did not celebrate "too much" after clinching the Carabao Cup on Sunday.
The Reds overcame Chelsea after a tense penalty shootout at Wembley to win the competition for a record-breaking ninth time.
There were raucous scenes on the pitch and in the dressing room - where Gala's "Freed from Desire" was on the sound system - after Liverpool players collected their winners' medals and captain Jordan Henderson lifted the trophy.
The Carabao Cup is the first of four competitions Klopp's side can win this season as they search for an unprecedented quadruple also involving the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup.
And the German manager claims Liverpool's celebrations soon subsided once they had left Wembley to travel back to Merseyside.

"The party was in the dressing room. Loud music on the bus, no music on the plane and then we got home at 12.30am," Klopp told reporters on Tuesday.
"The boys had a day off yesterday and we train again today. The celebrations were not too much."
Liverpool could not afford to let their Carabao Cup celebrations develop into a distraction due to their testing upcoming fixture run.
The Reds return to action to host Norwich City in the FA Cup fifth round on Wednesday before West Ham come calling to Anfield in the top flight on Saturday.
Another quick turnaround leaves Liverpool with just two full days to prepare for the second leg of their Champions League last-16 clash against Inter Milan.
Urging his side not to get carried away in the pursuit of more silverware, Klopp said: "The reality is to win something you have to be focused on the next step and not the one after that. That's what we do."
The former Borussia Dortmund boss was keen to stress Liverpool are a long way off completing the quadruple, adding: "No team has ever won it. It's not that we are even close to it.
"We have won the Carabao Cup, we are behind [Manchester] City in the league and now we have Norwich in the FA Cup after 120 minutes on Sunday."
Nonetheless, Klopp believes it is better to be tipped to win the quadruple than ruled out of such a feat, however unrealistic it may be.
"I don't see it as a compliment but it's better people think we can do good things rather than be useless," he said. "We face a lot of good teams between now and end of May."
Liverpool are six points behind City with a game in hand having won their last six top-flight games.
