Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has hinted at a potential exit from Anfield if his side suffer another season as troublesome as the 2022/23 campaign. The Reds have been Manchester City's main Premier League title rivals over the past five years but have endured a difficult season and find themselves seven points adrift of the top four.
Liverpool's drop in form has been capitalised on by Arsenal who find themselves eight points clear of City at the top of the table heading into the final nine fixtures this term. Mikel Arteta's side face the Merseyside outfit at Anfield this weekend but have not beaten the Reds away from home in over 10 years.
The Gunners have their best chance to end their winless run at Anfield as they come into the game a whopping 29 points clear of Liverpool and in much better form. Arsenal could take a huge step towards lifting their first Premier League title in 19 years with a win against the Reds, whilst compiling Klopp's misery at the same time.

Liverpool made a number of changes against Chelsea as they drew 0-0 at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night. Mohamed Salah, Andrew Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold were all dropped from the starting XI - with Virgil van Dijk absent through illness. Klopp admitted the Dutchman could be in contention to face the league leaders on Sunday whilst Gary Neville has predicted the Gunners to cause problems for the Reds if they give up as many chances as they did against Chelsea.
Not many people would have foreseen Liverpool struggling as much as they have this term and Klopp has admitted that he would not still be at Anfield if their poor form continues into the 2023/24 campaign. Following the goalless draw against the Blues, Klopp said: "No, thank God," when asked if he had experienced a season like this before.
"I wouldn't be manager of Liverpool if I had a couple of these seasons. We have to get through it. That's how life is. You have to fight to change your fortunes."
Mikel Arteta will be hoping his side can complete a league-double over Liverpool for the first time since the 2009/10 season. The Gunners could send a huge message to City and their Premier League rivals with a win at Anfield on Sunday as they aim to take another step towards the title.
