Jurgen Klopp has tipped new summer signing Fabio Carvalho to have a big role for Liverpool this season following his arrival from Fulham.
Carvalho starred for the Cottagers as they won the Championship last season, scoring 11 goals and notching eight assists in all competitions. That earned him a £5million move to Anfield, becoming the first of Klopp's three signings so far this transfer window.
Mainly operating as an attacking midfielder for Fulham, it was expected that Carvalho would feature largely from the bench this term. But ahead of Liverpool's season-opener against the 19-year-old's former club, Klopp hinted that he would be playing a larger role than pundits suggest.
