Jurgen Klopp showed his faith in Luis Diaz by starting the £50million new boy in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday.

Diaz started ahead of a half-fit Diogo Jota in attack for Liverpool, with Roberto Firmino failing to make the squad at all due to his own injury issues.

Klopp put his faith in the 25-year-old Colomban as the Reds faced Chelsea at Wembley, hoping to get their hands on a domestic trophy for the first time in 10 years.
