Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has warned his players that they will be punished if they do not respect the quality that Nottingham Forest have, ahead of the Premier League meeting.
Forest travel to Anfield on Saturday afternoon with both teams going into the game in different form. While Steve Cooper ’s side remained in the relegation zone with a 2-0 defeat against Manchester United, Liverpool came out as 6-1 winners over Leeds United on Monday night.
Ahead of the clash in Merseyside, Klopp has revealed what he has noticed from his analysis of Forest. The Liverpool boss has also admitted his confusion as to why the style is not producing results.

“We've had our analysis meeting, Forest have pragmatic style, long balls, corners,” he said in his pre-match press conference, via the Liverpool Echo . “Steve Cooper has the ability to play different ways but they don't have a lot of confidence so pragmatic makes sense. They have speed up front, technique in midfield. It's all there.
“We've already prepared everything. I know Steve can play different ways. Confidence is not at the highest level after recent results. They are more pragmatic. I can't explain why it isn't working out.”
Klopp also sent a warning over the ‘quality’ that Forest possess, pointing to the form just before the World Cup that saw the side move up the Premier League table.
“They had a super spell late last year, but then it didn't work out for them,” he added. “But the quality they have is clear and if we didn't respect that quality we would be on the wrong side.”
Forest go into the game looking to end a 10-game winless run in the Premier League. They currently sit in 18th place in the table, but are only in the bottom three on goal difference.
