Jurgen Klopp and the Liverpool board have agreed to go 'all in' on the signing of Jude Bellingham next summer.
The German is into his seventh year at the helm at Anfield but has overseen a poor start to the season. One major bone of contention for critics is that his starting eleven, particularly in central midfield, have been allowed to grow old together, and needs replenishing.
Seemingly, that is something both Klopp and FSG also see. Mirror Football previously revealed that Bellingham had emerged as the club's No.1 target for 2023. The Borussia Dortmund midfielder has flourished since leaving Birmingham City for German football and has a host of admirers among Europe's elite. He is likely to be the biggest transfer story next summer.
Dortmund, who have been willing to offload their top stars for big money, are looking to bag £130million to part company with Bellingham. Liverpool would have to smash their transfer record for a second successive summer if they were to win the race for his signature.
Bild are now reporting that FSG are making preparations to table a mega offer that, they hope, would put them at the front of the queue to land the teenager, who has scored nine times in 19 appearances so far this term.
The Liverpool bosses have set aside £86million to sign Bellingham. However, that would still fall short of Dortmund's valuation.

It may mean that the Reds have to offload members of their current squad to raise the remaining funds, but they could also use their fine relationship with counterparts at BVB to their advantage. Much will also depend on where Bellingham sees his future.
Bellingham's arrival would signal the start of a new era at Anfield and Klopp's agent has confirmed the manager intends to be a part of the club's long-term future, despite rumours of an early exit.
"I can assure that Jurgen Klopp is not thinking about resigning from Liverpool," Marc Kosicke told Sky Sport Germany. "The fact that there could be problems this season, due to the past intense season, was also calculated on the part of the club's owners before the start of this season.
"Jurgen enjoys the support of those responsible, and is in regular contact with them. He loves the club, the team and the fans, and is determined to drive forward the transformation at Liverpool, and bring it to a successful conclusion. It's not for nothing that he extended his contract earlier this year until 2026."
