Jamie Carragher believes Liverpool supporters can expect to see Darwin Nunez come off the bench against Fulham this afternoon.
The Reds striker made his first two appearances for the club following his £64million transfer from Benfica against Manchester United and Crystal Palace during Liverpool's summer pre-season tour.
Nunez then bagged four goals against RB Leipzig, before sealing the Community Shield for his side with a header from close-range at the King Power last weekend. The Reds were leading 2-1 at the time thanks to goals from Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah.

And speaking ahead of Liverpool’s clash against Fulham at Craven Cottage, Carragher explained why he expects Roberto Firmino to be given the nod over the Uruguayan.
“I don’t think it’ll be too big of a problem actually tomorrow because I think Firmino will play. Jurgen Klopp has history in terms of bedding new signings in, not putting them in straight away,” he told Sky Sports.
“We seen in the Community Shield, Haaland played right away, he didn’t. Nunez got the headlines because he scored a goal, got the penalty but Firmino played really well, I expect Firmino to play, it’ll almost be a normal Liverpool team.
“It’ll be a tough proposition, going up against a promoted team at home, there’s always that sense of excitement and atmosphere. Liverpool did that last year going to Norwich, you’d expect Liverpool to win but we’ll probably see Nunez off the bench.”
