The June bank holiday weekend is upon us, and many supermarkets across Ireland will see changes to their usual opening hours.
If you plan on heading to the shops to replenish supplies, check your local supermarket opening hours so you don't get caught out.
As the June bank holiday falls on Monday 6 June, many shops will be operating with reduced hours although not all shops will be closed.

And if you're planning any BBQ's or parties in the back garden, then you'll want to know what times the shops will be open during the weekend.
Dunnes Stores
Dunnes Stores will be operating as normal on Saturday and Sunday, while many will follow their usual Sunday opening hours on bank holiday Monday.
These vary from store to store so you can check out the official website for more information on your local supermarket.
Tesco
Tesco opening hours are due to remain as normal on Saturday and Sunday, with the majority implementing their usual Sunday hours on bank holiday Monday.

Lidl
Lidl stores across Ireland will operate Sunday hours on Bank Holiday Monday. The usual opening hours for bank holiday weekends are:
Saturday: 8am until 10pm
Sunday and Monday: 9am until 9pm
Aldi
Aldi stores will open as normal from 9am-10pm on the June Bank Holiday Monday.
Monday - Friday 9am - 10pm
Saturday - Sunday 9am - 9pm
