Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann has admitted that Sadio Mane needs to “adapt” following his move from Liverpool.
The Reds sold Mane to the Bundesliga giants in the summer in a deal that could be worth up to £35m. It saw the Senegal international’s six-year spell on Merseyside come to an end, where he scored 120 goals in 269 appearances.
Since moving to Bayern, Mane has scored five goals in 10 outings. His most recent appearance came in a 2-0 win over Barcelona in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Nagelsmann withdrew Mane from the match in the 70th minute, with there being some criticism of the player’s form. The Bayern boss referred to Mane’s efforts during his time at Liverpool as a reason for time being needed to settle in.
"He put in so much for Liverpool," said Nagelsmann, after Tuesday night’s match.
"He's a new signing. He just needs to adapt. He was trying. I'm certain he will succeed for us."
Nagelsmann added: "In the first half, Barcelona had the better chances than us - our final ball wasn't quite there.
"Things got much better in the second half, and our efficiency made the difference today."
