Daniel Levy could arm Julian Nagelsmann with a Tottenham side capable of challenging for the Premier League title in a few years with just four additions to the starting linup. The north Londoners have struggled to hold onto a place in the top-four but, with the 35-year-old in the dugout and a number of signings, they could well become a force to be reckoned with again.
And, luckily for Spurs, Nagelsmann is said to be keen on replacing Ryan Mason at the end of the season. According to German outlet BILD, the former Bayern Munich boss is 'tempted' to fill the vacant head coach position.
As developments are made, the report states that Nagelsmann is looking for control in the transfer market, meaning he wants an influential say on what players are and are not signed. So, with that being said, football.london has taken a look at how Tottenham could line-up next season if the German is granted his wish.

Formation
Nagelsmann has been known to prefer either 4-2-3-1 or a 3-4-2-1 so, with Spurs accustomed to the latter, the German would likely kickstart his tenure with a back-three.
Goalkeeper
Between the sticks, the north Londoners have Hugo Lloris at their disposal, though the Frenchman is far from guaranteed a start. Lloris sees his contract at Tottenham expire at the end of next season and he's also subject to plenty of costly mistakes this season.
So, there's a chance that Spurs look to bring in a new goalkeeper for Nagelsmann. There aren't too many world-class options on the market at the moment, but David Raya and Robert Sanchez certainly look primed for a big move each.
André Onana from Inter Milan and Jordan Pickford from Everton could be considered too. But either of the Spaniards from Brentford and Brighton would be perfect.
Defence
A back-three under Nagelsmann would likely include Cristian Romero, Eric Dier and Ben Davies. Unless Spurs sign a left-sided centre-half like Josko Gvardiol or Alessandro Bastoni, the Welshman will have to accept a role in the backline.
Ideally, Tottenham provide the former Bayern boss with a back-three of Romero, Bastoni and Gvardiol. By signing the Inter Milan and RB Leipzig stars, respectively, Levy would be providing Nagelsmann with a defence which could potentially win the Premier League one day.
Midfield
A midfield under Nagelsmann in a 3-4-2-1 would comprise of two darting wing-backs and two central-midfielders. With some coaching, Ryan Sessegnon and Pedro Porro could be moulded into two excellent wide options.
Ideally, Levy would sign a world-class left-back in Alphonso Davies or Theo Hernandez, but without the promise of Champions League football, it could be a tough ask. Tottenham are in urgent need more cover at wing-back with Ivan Perisic entering the final years of his career and having struggled to impress at times this season.
A midfield pivot of Rodrigo Bentancur and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg would be a fantastic start for Nagelsmann but, again, the German would need stronger options off the bench.
Attack
Nagelsmann's ideal front-three at Tottenham would include Harry Kane, Dejan Kulusevski and Heung-min Son. With Richarlison off the bench and potentially Dane Scarlett in the ranks too, the 35-year-old could certainly transform Spurs' attack into a force to be reckoned with.
Starting-lineup: David Raya; Josko Gvardiol, Cristian Romero, Alessandro Bastoni; Theo Hernandez, Rodrigo Bentancur, Pierre-Emile Höjbjerg, Pedro Porro; Heung-min Son, Harry Kane, Dejan Kulusevski.
