The dust has yet to settle from Tom Brady’s retirement announcement on Wednesday morning, and former New England Patriots receiver Julian Edelman is already suggesting a new sport for the “GOAT” to conquer.
Edelman, who announced his retirement in 2021, has moved on from playing football and started the broadcasting journey of his career. He stars as one of the cast members for Inside the NFL, and he also hosts the Games with Names podcast show, alongside comedian Sam Morril.
Now, he’ll be welcoming his former teammate into the world of retirement. While Brady is expected to begin his broadcasting journey as well with FOX Sports, Edelman floated the idea of the two teaming up again in pickleball.
You only get one super emotional reaction to the goat retiring, and I used mine up. So I’ll just say this. Learning from you as a player, teammate, leader, son, brother, and father has been the experience of a lifetime. Love you buddy. ❤️🐐

The comment was likely all in fun, but honestly, it would be an interesting way to bring the two Patriots legends back together in a competitive environment.
Put a pickleball racket in their hands and get out of the way. Between the two of them, there are 10 Super Bowl rings. You’d have to be a fool to count them out.
