Fifteen minutes into the debut episode of a podcast hosted by a renowned actress, the power outage caused by a bomb cyclone interrupted the conversation with guest Jane Fonda. Despite the technical glitch, the host's frantic efforts to reconnect and the ensuing chaos were kept in the episode, adding a humorous touch to the show.
The inspiration behind the podcast, titled 'Wiser Than Me,' stemmed from the realization that older women, despite their wealth of wisdom, are seldom given a platform to share their experiences. Each episode features insightful discussions with guests such as Diane von Furstenberg, Isabel Allende, and Carol Burnett, covering topics like careers, relationships, aging, and ambition.
