A judge has agreed to remove the curfew and electronic monitoring imposed on one of the men accused of leading a loyalist show of strength in East Belfast last year.
Stephen Matthews, 59, of Pansy Street in the city, denies charges of unlawful assembly and affray in connection with the high-profile incident at Pitt Park on February 2, 2021.
Some witnesses to the alleged loyalist show of strength are also no longer cooperating with the prosecution, a court heard today.
