A man shot dead his judge wife and their pets in a suspected murder-suicide before sending a "troubling" message to his friend, according to police.
New Mexico Judge Diane Albert, 65, was found dead with Eric Pinkerton, 63, at their home on Friday, said Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office.
Cops were called to their home in the 800 block of Ranchitos Road for a welfare check when the grim discovery of the bodies was made.
