Celtic were crowded Scottish League Cup champions on Sunday after a penalty shoot-out victory over Rangers - but they were made to wait for the trophy presentation.
That’s because hundreds of over exuberant Celtic fans climbed out of the stand and onto the track around Hampden Park pitch to celebrate the triumph.
Premier Sports host Emma Dodds broke the news and said: "The Celtic fans have held up the trophy presentation because they have come out of the stands and you can see them there on the track by the pitch.
“Until they go back to the stand, the trophy presentation can't go ahead. They are clearly are fans of Premier Sports because they have taken our boards home with them. So it's an early Christmas present for somebody so that's why there's been a delay."
Six goals were scored in a pulsating match with Kasper Schmeichel saving a penalty in the shootout and Daizen Maeda dispatching beyond Jack Butland to win more silverware.
