Rangers teenager Juan Alegría has joined Partick Thistle as the Firhill side continue their push for promotion.
The Championship outfit have brought in the 19-year-old Colombian on loan until the end of the season.
Alegria, who joins fellow Light Blues loanees Lewis Mayo and Andy Firth at Firhill, arrived at Ibrox last summer on a three-year deal from Finnish side FC Honka.
The teenager has been strutting his stuff in the Lowland League for the Rangers B team and scored two against Thistle in December in a City of Glasgow Cup clash.
Ian McCall’s side head to league leaders Arbroath on Tuesday night knowing victory would take them third, six points off the summit with two games in hand on Dick Campbell’s high-fliers.
And travelling fans could get a glimpse of their new man in action after Thistle got to work on the final day of the loan window.
Boss McCall said: "Juan is an exciting young player who everyone at Rangers have high hopes for, so we’re pleased to add him to the squad for the rest of the season.
"He’s been playing in the Lowland League with the B team which has given him a taste of what it’s like to play in that competitive senior environment in Scotland.
"With so many games coming up, we thought it was important to add another striker to help share the attacking burden and we’re delighted to be able to get Juan in to do that."
