JTL, one of the leading apprenticeship providers in England and Wales, has opened a new training centre in Hull.
A recruitment drive for potential learners for the Sykes Street facility has begun, with the delivery of plumbing, heating, and electrical engineering apprenticeships planned.
Joseph Lo, centre manager at Hull, said: “We are delighted to be able to open our newest training centre in Hull and look forward to seeing a new group of learners experience our brand-new facilities.

“We’re now looking to welcome new apprentices through the doors and demonstrate to them the true potential of a career in the electrical engineering and plumbing and heating trades.”
He said learners who undertake the electrical engineering apprenticeship will develop skills that allow them to handle electrical systems and ultimately enable them to practice as electricians. Similarly, plumbing and heating apprentices train towards a lifetime career handling the infrastructure behind domestic, commercial and industrial environments.
The Hull centre now joins JTL’s network of not-for-profit training centres. The organisation manages the apprenticeship process by placing learners with a local employer, as well as providing them with a dedicated training officer and a free toolkit.
