Journey’s Neal Schon causes confusion with Jonathan Cain departure announcement

Journey’s Neal Schon has caused confusion by declaring that Jonathan Cain is leaving the band.

After Schon, 71, announced the departure with a message on X, he later clarified that Cain, 75, will be touring with the band “all through” 2026 and 2027 and Cain insisted that he only “expressed plans to retire at a later time”.
