The fee Celtic will receive for selling Jota this summer has been revealed.
The Scottish Sun states that Saudi side Al-Ittihad will fork out around £20million for the Portuguese winger.
They report that the 24-year-old is locked in talks with the mega-rich Middle Eastern side.
Earlier today, the Hoops star had reportedly agreed on terms with the club, as his exit from Celtic was first signaled.
And it now seems that negotiations are moving quickly, with the ball now firmly in Jota's court over whether he wants to quit the Scottish champions for Saudi Arabia.
It's believed that while talks have taken place, Celtic have yet to agree to sell their prized asset.
Should Jota go ahead with the move, he will become the latest of a host of players to swap European football for the Gulf.
Ex-Wolves and Tottenham manager Nuno Espírito Santo is the current boss of Al-Ittihad.
He is joined by former Hearts No.1 Ian Cathro as his first-team coach, having previously worked together.
They have already brought in French superstar Karim Benzema from Real Madrid and former Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante, both of whom will earn eye-watering figures after agreeing lucrative contracts.
Jota's fellow countrymen Cristiano Ronaldo and Ruben Neves both play in the oil-rich country too, with the State-backed football clubs in Saudi attracting some of the globe's biggest names.
Celtic signed Jota on loan initially two years ago, but he became a permanent signing last summer. The Hoops paid Benfica £6.5million.
While the Scottish champs will still make a sizable profit on Jota, some reports do state that Benfica holds a 30 per cent sell-on fee, which would see a decent portion of the money paid by Al-Ittihad head to Portugal.
