Jota has been labelled a MERCENARY over his switch to Al-Ittihad with Alan Brazil claiming 'it's horrible what he's done'.
The 24-year-old has swapped the Scottish champions for a mega bucks switch to the Middle East with the Hoops banking a big fee for the transfer. He hooks up with superstars Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kante under the watch of Nuno Espirito Santo after penning a three-year deal with his new side.
Gordon Strachan has came out and defended the decision of the Portuguese winger however not all agree with that view including talkSPORT host Brazil who has slammed the former Benfica man over the transfer. He reckons the decision he has made is 'horrible' and that he is just going to the Gulf State for the money and not footballing reasons.

Giving his view on air during the talkSPORT breakfast show, Celtic-daft Brazil said: "If I'm being frankly honest, for a player like him, it's mercenary. It's horrible what he's done.
"He's just taken the money. I don't like it. It doesn't matter [how much money he's on]. You've got to test your ability and you ain't going to test it out there, let's be honest."
When it was pointed out he could make a return to the club like Brendan Rodgers down the line, he continued: "I don't care. The Rodgers thing is different. Jota is a mercenary. I don't know what Steven Gerrard's doing either."
Jota spent two years at Celtic after Ange Postecoglou initially signed him on loan from Benfica.
Last summer he made it a priority to make the signing permanent with a £6.5million fee and heavy shell on clause in the deal that now sees his former club bank further profit.
Last season he netted 15 goals and recorded 12 assists as the Hoops won a domestic Treble.
