Ange Postecoglou has revealed that Jota, Liel Abada and Reo Hatate have won their Celtic fitness race for Celtic to face Rangers in the Scottish Cup semi-final showdown on Sunday.
The trio all reported for training at Lennoxtown this week as they looked to win the race against the clock for the crucial clash with Michael Beale's men at Hampden - and aid the club in their pursuit of a domestic Treble. Winger Jota has been out since scoring in the 3-2 Old Firm victory at Celtic Park, while both Hatate and Abada have been sidelined since facing Hibs last month.
Postecoglou stated earlier this week that derby day veteran James Forrest was unlikely to make it and it has now been confirmed that he will sit out the showdown at the national stadium. Speaking ahead of the showdown in Mount Florida Postecoglou confirmed the trio will be available for selection for the clash on Sunday afternoon.
Postecoglou said: "From last week everyone got through unscathed. Liel Abada, Jota and Reo Hatate have trained all week so they are available. James Forrest is probably another week or so away."
