Josip Juranovic has sealed his exit from Celtic in a deal worth a reported £10m to Bundesliga side Union Berlin.
The popular Parkhead defender joined the club in the summer of 2021 from Legia Warsaw as one of new boss Ange Postecoglou's first signings as he began his rebuild job in Glasgow. Juranovic quickly became a fan's favourite and put in stellar showings in league and European action for Celtic after arriving in a coup deal for around £2.5m.
But a strong showing at the World Cup saw heads turned with the likes of Barcelona and Chelsea interested. That was before Union swooped in with a deal worth up to £10m with £7.5m the initial fee. The 28-year-old was left out of the Hoops' 5-0 win over Morton on Saturday and underwent a medical in the German capital after a deal was struck with both clubs.
