Josie Gibson shared a cryptic post on her Instagram Stories, hinting at “drama” and “disrespect” amid concern she is set to quit This Morning.
The post, which talked about “prioritising peace” and choosing “calm over conflict”, was swiftly taken down after being shared with her 702,000 followers on Tuesday.
The quote the I’m A Celeb alum shared read: "The older you get the more you choose calm over conflict and distance over disrespect.
“Drama becomes intolerant to you and your peace becomes your ultimate priority. You start surrounding yourself with people who are good for your mental health, heart and soul.”
The cryptic post comes amid viewer speculation the former Big Brother star is preparing to leave This Morning as she enjoys a break from hosting the ITV weekday stalwart.
The beloved daytime favourite has seen various hosts such as Emma Willis, Cat Deeley, Craig Doyle, Rylan Clark, and Rochelle Humes, stepping in following the departure of permenant hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield last year.
Gibson sparked concern about her role on the factual show when she said on January 18 that she would be taking a break from This Morning as Sian Welby stepped in for a week.
Writing on Instagram at the time, she penned: “My last day with @dermotoleary tomorrow before @alisonhammond55 returns Friday.
“Then @sianwelby takes the @thismorning reins next week. What an amazing group of ladies to share the sofa with!!!!! @dermotoleary thank you for being my rock this week. You've been a complete star.”
Following her update, Gibson was forced to reassure fans that she wasn't leaving the show.
Addressing concern a few days later, she penned on her Instagram Stories: “Alreeet lovers. Just to confirm, I have not left @thismorning I keep getting asked why I've left, so I thought it's easier to clear up the rumour mill on here.
“I am eternally grateful for all your love and support and I can not thank you enough. JG #squashingrumours.”
