This Morning presenter Josie Gibson has claimed her son has been visited by her late father’s ghost after a spine-tingling conversation.
The telly personality, 37, was left gobsmacked her little boy told her he had been communicating with her dad, who died when he was just 10 years old.
Reggie reportedly identified the spirit as that of her late dad after she visited The Ram Inn as part of a Halloween segment for her role on the ITV morning show last month.
Believed to be one of the UK’s most haunted homes, Josie explained how she now fears she “brought something back” with her after experiencing a “weird energy” in the property.
She told the Daily Star that Reggie described the ghost as a “nice” one.
“He said: ‘Mummy, he's behind you now. He's so nice because he's your dad.’
“My dad died when I was really young but I've never had a conversation about my dad with my son,” she told the publication.
“Reg said: ‘He told me to tell you he loves you very much.’”
Reggie later claimed to be communicating with his late paternal grandfather and knew details from stories from decades before he was born.
Josie said she couldn’t explain how he knew the specifics of events that had long passed.
Josie added: “I said: ‘Who else have you been talking to?’ Reg said: ‘I’ve been talking to daddy’s dad and he told me he loved burning the boat’.
“When I spoke to Reggie’s dad the next day I asked if his dad had anything to do with burning a boat.
“He said years ago he got so fed up of keeping his boat together that he burnt it down. Is that not the weirdest thing you’ve ever heard in your life?"
The TV favourite is a larger-than-life character on screen but rarely speaks about her traumatic childhood.
Josie’s father was killed in a family love triangle when she was just 10. Her uncle was convicted of his manslaughter after he bled to death following a physical fight between the pair.
The Bristolian told Now magazine in 2010 that her dad was stabbed in the leg after it was discovered that he was having an affair with Josie’s uncle’s partner and the fight that ensued left him with fatal injuries.
