Warrington Wolves have named Josh McGuire in their squad to face Leeds Rhinos ahead of his tribunal hearing on Tuesday. The Wire's new Australian forward is facing a minimum six-match ban after being charged for Grade F unacceptable language following their pre-season fixture with Leigh Leopards.
McGuire's hearing takes place at 17:30 on Tuesday but Daryl Powell has named him in his extended 21-man squad as the Wolves look to overturn the charge.
One notable absentee is Matty Russell, with the winger not featuring after his off-season move from Toulouse Olympique despite featuring in the pre-season game against Leigh earlier this month. Joe Philbin remains absent through injury while Gil Dudson starts a spell on the sidelines with a broken hand.
