The Minnesota Vikings will not be making a change at quarterback, at least not yet.
Kevin O’Connell announced during his Wednesday media availability that Josh Dobbs will be starting his fourth-straight game at quarterback. This comes after O’Connell said he was going to be evaluating the position during the bye week.
The move seems to be one of both continuity and potential growth. Dobbs has been the guy for the last few weeks and working to get him in a better place is going to be paramount for success.
One thing that they haven’t done is utilize Dobbs’ ability to use his legs and run the ball. They have ran a couple of plays but nothing with any form of consistency or a part of the game plan.
The Vikings also look to have Nick Mullens to be the backup, as O’Connell said they were going to prepare him for Sunday but didn’t have a lot to say about rookie Jaren Hall.
