Richard Keys has revealed former Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho told him about the "rows" he used to have with Paul Pogba during his time at the helm at Old Trafford.
This comes amid the release of the Frenchman's Amazon documentary, in which his rocky relationship with United is laid bare. The midfielder is recorded as saying that the club’s contract renewal offer of £300,000-a-week was 'nothing'.
It also touched on Mourinho’s relationship with the player. At one stage, Pogba had travelled to Miami to undergo rehab after an injury.

He claimed the now Roma boss had forwarded a paparazzi picture to his agent, the late Mino Raiola, that showed him with his wife Zulay. “I didn't like it at all... at all,” Pogba said.
“I said to Mou, ‘are you serious? I am injured, but I come here to train three times a day. Who do you think I am? I'm not like other players’.”
Mourinho brought Pogba back to United for a world-record fee of £89m in 2016. In the years after his 2018 sacking, the Portuguese coach took up punditry and worked alongside Keys on a number of occasions.
Taking to Twitter, Keys claimed that Mourinho had told him about the confrontations he had with Pogba, with the presenter calling Pogba a virus.
“I doubt there’s anything in the Pogmentary that will persuade me that Pogba isn’t a virus and United are well rid of him,” he wrote.
“£300,000/week - nothing? Didn’t feel loved? Please. Mourinho told me about his rows and there’s only one side to take.”
