‘Jose listen to your wife’: Florida woman blocks Hispanic man’s car, tells him to go back to ‘wherever he came from.’ There’s just one problem

A Hispanic couple recently found themselves face-to-face with a woman who appeared to be racially profiling them in the Delray Beach Market garage. The woman cornered the couple, yelling at them from outside their car and telling them to go back to ‘wherever’ they came from. She eventually moved, but only after another driver and building security stepped in.

@mdlex posted a video of the encounter and a follow-up explaining what happened, and it quickly spread on the internet. The raw footage has pulled in 5.9 million views since Nov. 23. Many viewers expressed outrage at the encounter, later identifying the woman’s name and general location.

Their encounter at the Delray Beach Market

Jose and his partner were driving out of the parking garage when they noticed the woman in front of them driving a bit “erratically.”

She came to a full stop right before the garage exit. Every car waiting to leave started honking at the woman. But when @mdlex started honking as well, it set something in the woman off. She hopped out of her car and approached the couple.

“ She tried to open my door,” @mdlex told her viewers. “I wasn’t sure what she was planning to do… I thought by threatening I was gonna call the cops, that she would maybe just get scared and go back in her car.”

But the woman persisted and began saying some truly heinous things to the couple.

@mdlex added, “She proceeded to say these things [like], ‘go back to where you came from.’ I live in America. All these different racial comments.”

Then another driver stepped in. Another man quickly approached the woman and told her to stop confronting the couple. He ended up scaring her back to her car.

@mdlex’s husband, Jose, tried to exit the vehicle. But, she screamed to her husband to remain in the car and not further escalate the situation. The man who assisted them ended up pushing her to leave.

Eventually, security officers arrived and confronted the woman just as she was walking to her car again. Everyone eventually left the garage, but @mdlex and her husband were shaken by what happened.

Commenters identify the woman and storm her socials

As @mdlex described in a later video, many commenters wanted them to escalate the issue. “I  got a lot of comments about, ‘oh, you should have let your husband take care of things. I should have taken care of things,’” she said. “I have children. I’m trying to show an example of how to act and just how to live life and, and just try to treat people the way you wanna be treated.”

But many people still didn’t want to put up with the woman’s behavior. Countless sleuthers identified the woman, posting her personal details in @mdlex’s comment section. TikTok users later stitched the video with more information about the woman, such as @thatdaneshguy and @tizzytent

Countless profiles discussed the woman on Facebook and TikTok, with pictures of the woman ending up pretty much everywhere.

Then, commenters took the situation a step further. Commenters were able to identify some of her family members like her son and his business. They allegedly found posts from her child describing the encounter and “laughing” about it, leading to further outrage online. So, commenters apparently review-bombed the Yacht interior company, which is, as of Nov. 28, no longer available online.

They also found her resume and where she’s been looking for employment. “She’s actively looking for a job with the Palm Beach School District and is a private tutor,” said one viewer on @thatdaneshguy’s video.

Since then, the woman has taken down her LinkedIn and Facebook. Her son has set his Instagram account to private.
