Jorgie Porter shares miscarriage heartbreak on Loose Women after losing quadruplets

Jorgie Porter left Loose Women viewers at home incredibly moved as she spoke about suffering a miscarriage when expecting four children, sharing that she had "no idea" she'd lost them.

Jorgie, best known for playing Teresa McQueen on Hollyoaks, was joined by other half Ollie Piotrowski to talk about their heartbreaking experience on the ITV talk show, hosted on Wednesday by Christine Lampard.

Jorgie, who has also been a contestant on Dancing on Ice and I'm A Celebrity, explained that she was left in shock when she and Ollie were told she was pregnant with quadruplets.

Due to her pregnancy being "one in 700,000," Jorgie was classed as high risk, meaning she had more scans than the majority of expectant mums.

And, it was sadly during one of the scans that the couple were told that Jorgie had lost the babies, despite the actress not suffering any symptoms of a miscarriage and, after the initial shock of having four, having her heart set on "a girl gang."

Recalling the awful moment, Jorgie told Christine: "She then said you've got a miscarriage. You've missed, they're gone."

Jorgie said she suffered what is referred to as 'a missed miscarriage,' adding that the trauma brought her and Ollie closer together.

She said: "The sadness opened us up, together, and we know we'll be with each other forever."

Just like host Christine and the Loose Women panel, viewers of the ITV show were incredibly moved by the interview.

One tweeted: "This is so sad. Love to Jorgie and Ollie," with another reacting: "Sending Love to Jorgie and Olly, so sorry to hear of your Loss.."
