Jorge Masvidal has warned Colby Covington that he will "f*** him up" to the point that the UFC will look to remove him from the roster.
The welterweight stars will do battle on March 5 at UFC 272 as they look to re-assert their names as leading contenders in the division after both failing to dethrone Kamaru Usman.
Bad blood is evident between the pair who used to be teammates at American Top Team as they have continued their separate rises at 170lbs.
Masvidal has now issued a stark warning to Covington posting a video on Twitter : " At the home, the temple, home to some real motherf******. Left and right, I’m not the only one here that’s a bad motherf*****.
"Many bad motherf****** here. But not your b**** ass that got kicked out from here. Damn, man. I know it hurts every time you see that s***.
"I know what a sensitive b**** you are and how you read comments and cry. I can’t imagine every time you see this symbol, it just hurts, man. Keep talking sh*t though. I can’t wait."
'Gamebred' then warned Covington he could be frozen out of the promotion if he suffers a defeat later this year.
"March 5 is getting closer, so is this knee to your temple," Masvidal continued. "Not only am I going to break your face in a very violent way but the UFC is going to see you’re such a liability that they’re gonna kick you out, bro.
"Then it’s going to be back to Indian reservations where you can fight, maybe you can co-main event or some sh*t like that because I don’t even think you can main event after I’m done with you, in any show.
"I’m gonna f*** you up, man. Keep talking that s*** though. March 5th can’t come close enough. See you soon, b****. Never forget."

Both men will look to reignite their title bids after both coming off of tough rematch clashes with pound-for-pound king Usman.
Covington has been less vocal so far in the build-up to the clash and has been focusing on his training in a bid to downplay their rivalry.
The pair used to be seen regularly in each other's corner s but as time passed after Covington's departure from the gym, they became foes.
Masvidal was set to face Leon Edwards last year but was forced to withdraw due to injury which provoked a furious reaction from the British star.
However he is now keen to expose Covington as a "charlatan" and has claimed he will earn "alot of money" for doing so.
It’s so amazing that I’m going to get to punch this guy in the face,” Masvidal told FOX News. “And I really don’t like this guy, and I’m going to get paid for it — a big amount of money. And I can’t wait just to expose him once again to the world. He’s a charlatan.”
