Jorge Masvidal failed to make a dent on Colby Covington in the cage - then promised to break his face in the street.
Masvidal and Covington met in the main event at UFC 272 last night to settle their bitter rivalry.
And it was Covington who dominated from start to finish to earn a lop-sided unanimous decision victory.
Masvidal landed one potentially fight-changing right hand in the fourth round but failed to seize the opportunity.
And he was made to pay as Covington saw out the fight on the ground.
But the Miami native insisted he had not made peace with his hatred for his former friend and teammate.
"It just sucks because this idiot talked about my kids," he said. "He’s still somebody, if I see him out in the streets, I’m going to give him everything I've got to break his f***ing jaw.
"He’s a b***h. The b***h can wrestle, though. To lose to a b***h like that, obviously no one wants to lose to a coward like that. It just sucks, man."
Masvidal also complained about an eye-poke in the first round for which Covington was warned before the second period.
"I’m not going to take nothing away from him winning the fight, because that was just one sequence, but he poked the s*** out of my eye," he added.

"The eye poke was pretty bad, man, my eye’s still hurting right now."
Covington, who like Masvidal lost back-to-back fights against welterweight champion Kamaru Usman, was far from happy with his performance.
"It wasn't my best performance. Just a lot of emotions going into it," he said. "That was a real friend of mine at one point in my career... I let my emotions get the best of me.
"But it was still dominant. I showed the world how good I was."
