Paddy Pimblett has been called out by a legendary UFC figure in Jorge Masvidal, who has claimed that 'Englishman cannot fight'. Masvidal, the nine-year UFC veteran has even claimed that Logan Paul would defeat Pimblett if they fought - after the YouTuber challenged the Liverpudlian to a fight.
Pimblett has seen a quick rise to fame after just two fights in the UFC, with statement wins over Luigi Vendramini and Kazula Vargas at UFC London. One of those who has taken notice is Paul.
Paul, a wrestler in his younger days, his transitioned from a YouTuber to combat sports star in recent years, boxing Floyd Mayweather, whilst this past week impressing in his performance at Wrestlemania 38 - with a number of legends from the sport such as The Rock and Triple H praising him.

Last month, on his Impaulsive podcast, Paul told Dana White that he'd like to fight in the UFC - something the president of the company did not rule out. Speaking on Ariel Helwani's MMA Hour, Paul has now eyed his favoured opponent should he be signed to a UFC bout.
When speaking about their fight to Jorge Masvidal, the legendary UFC fighter did not have too many kind words for the Scouser.
Speaking on Paul's Impaulsive podcast, Masvidal said: “I think he’s very entertaining and kind of wild, but from a skills point of view, right now, I don’t see him being a world champion. However, that could change. But his skill set right now I don’t think he’s at the top.
"I think Logan would win in a fight against him. Logan’s got the wrestling, bro. Englishmen don’t know how to fight."
Masvidal has had a long career in the industry, but leapfrogged himself to stardom after defeating Liverpudlian Darren Till, before then going on to have the quickest KO in the history of the sport when he flying knee'd Ben Askren within four seconds.
Although Masvidal stated Englishmen cannot fight, he was defeated by Paul Daley in 2010, who is indeed English. Pimblett is currently in the United States, with Paul inviting him onto his podcast.
