Jorge Alfaro said the line.
The outfielder hit a walk-off hit to help the San Diego Padres on Thursday night, and afterwards, he was interviewed. But everyone — from his teammates to fans — was waiting to see if he’d say what he said last month when he hit a different walk-off for a win.
You see, back in June, he said on the air “Let’s [expletive] go San Diego!” and it became a bit of a catchphrase (see below). So guess what they wanted him to say?
Yep. And he said it. And everyone went nuts. Rightfully so.
Here’s the first time (WARNING: NSFW LANGUAGE AHEAD!):
Jorge Alfaro just said the new slogan of the 2022 Padres.
